At a Vestry holden in the Parish
of Sego in the Parish Church
the 24th day of August 1699
It was agreed and enacted by the Minister, Churchwardens
and Parishioners then present that the sum of six pounds
sterling be applotted upon the Parish and levied by the people and the
churchwardens for the buying of a silver platten for the
administration of the Lord's supper and to maintain
a child left in the townland of Baltea whose parents
cannot be discovered; so together with the sum of
ten pounds agreed upon at the last vestry makes
the sum of sixteen pounds sterling to be levied by
the Belfast churchwardens for so they are to
account with the parish at the Easter next

It was then enacted by ye minister churchwardens and
parishioners then present ye sume of fifteen pounds sterling
be applotted and levied off ye inhabitants of ye said parish
by ye churchwardens of ye said parish (viz) four pounds sterling
for building a bellfree of Brick to be
levied imedially and aheven ( eleven?) pounds sterling more for a bell to
be levied at Easter next
