At a vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe Easter Monday being the 29 th day of March 1703
It
was there enacted by the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners
there present that the sum of five pounds and five shillings should
be applotted upon the Parishioners and Landholders of the said Parish
(viz) one pound and fifteen shillings for elements
for Holy Communion and three pounds and four
shillings for necessary repairs of the Church; and that Anthony
Metcalf of Seagoe Senior and Henry Ogle of Drumgask are chosen Churchwardens and David
Williams of Ballyhanaghan (Ballyhannon) and William Masdon of
Drumanakells Sidesmen for the year ensuing.
Jacob Robson to be overseer of the highways from Edenderry to Kilvergin River; Robert Wright from Killicomaine to Mr Dynes hill and from the Bluestone to the highway leading to Kilvergin and from Killicomaine to the Church. William Erwin to continue, Robert Black and William Luttan to survey from the Road in Ballymacramoll to the road at Killicomaine and from John Binks to Upper Seagoe Gate; Robert Masdon to survey from Mr Dynes hill to William Williams’ Bridge and from Shankill Church style to the Kilvergin River.
