At a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe the 19 th of February 1704 it was unanimously agreed upon by the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners there present that the sum of twenty pounds sterling be applotted upon the parishioners for a Bell and Belfrie to be levied immediately by distress or otherwise according to law.

At a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe on Easter Monday the 17 th of April 1704

It was agreed and enacted by the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners there present that the sum of five pounds sterling to be applotted upon the Parishioners and levied of them, viz one pound fifteen shillings for elements for the Lord’s Supper and three pound five shillings for the repair of the Church.

Robert Wilson of Derryenvir (Derryinver) and Valentine Dines of Tanafyglasson (Tamnifiglasson) are chosen Churchwardens for the ensuing year. The Overseers: Joseph Harry to be overseer of the highway from Edenderry to Kilvirgin River.

Meredith Dines to oversee the way from Killicomaine to Mr Dine’s hill and from the Blue Stone to the causeway leading to Ballynacor Mill and from Killicomaine to the Church; John Abraham from the Bannfoot to the Stone Bridge in Derrymacash; William Freer and John Binks from Knockbridge to Lilo and through Killicomaine to Upper Seagoe Gate. Roger Webb to survey from Mr Dines Hill to William Williamson’s Bridge and from Shankill Church to Kilvergan River.
