At a Vestry held in the Parish church of Seagoe on Easter Tuesday March the 26 th 1706

It was then agreed and enacted by the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners then present that the sum of 9 l – 4s – 4d be applotted and levied of the parishioners and landholders of the said Parish for the uses following (viz)

Twelve shillings six pence for carrying of bell up to Dublin and the same for bringing it down 00 l : 12s : 6d

One shilling four pence being due to Margaret Jones for washing the table linen

Six shillings six pence being due to George Ramsey for mending the fence of the Churchyard and some other work done in and about the church.

3l : 2s : 8d for Elements for the sacrament of the Lord’s Supper twelve times

To George Ramsey for ringing the bell one year ending Easter next 1 l – 6s – 0d

Four shillings two pence for Articles

Four shillings and two pence cutting for cutting the weeds in the Churchyard 0l : 2s : 0d

For washing the table linen the next year one shilling eight pence

Churchwardens expenses 3 s – 8d

For repairs to the Church that may happen next year 2 l – 0s – 0d

And for applotting and collecting the left, the remainder

And that William Fryer of Knocknemucly and John Masdon of Drumneally are chosen Churchwardens to serve for the year ensuing.

George Bell of Ballynecor instead of John Greenway to oversee from Edenderry to Kilvirgin River; Mr Robert Wilson of Bocombra from Killecomain to Mr Dynes hill and from the Blue Stone to the causeway leading to Ballynecor Mill and from there to the Church gate; James Roughcastles to continue; Leonard Toulerton from Knockbridge to Lylo and through Kilvirgin to Upper Seagoe Gate. Mr Francis Mathers instead of Thomas Workman to oversee from Knockbridge to Lylo, Robert Thompson and William Bell to oversee from William Dines hill, William Williamsons river and from Shankill Church to Kilvirgin River.
