At a vestry held in the Parish Church of

Sego held for the said parish on the

fifth day of July 1725.

It was enacted concluded and agreed upon

by the minister, churchwardens and

parishioners then present that the sum of

9 = 15= 00 sterling be applotted and levied of the

parishioners and land holders of the said parish

for the uses following (viz)

for the repair of the East window of the said church with iron barrs and glass five pounds sterling

and for the repair of the church within and without four pounds

for one common prayer book for ye use of ye church, fifteen shillings

which together with the sum of 8 = 16 = 2 laid on the parish at Easter last for several uses

mentioned in the said act make the sum of 18 = 11 = 2 to be levied of the parish

by the present churchwardens immediately by distress or otherwise according to law and accounted for at Easter next.

It was enacted concluded and agreed upon by the minister,

churchwardens and parishioners then present that

the sum of 8 = 17= 02d sterling be levied of ye parish aforesaid

for the uses following (viz)

for elements and for providing elements for the insuing year .................1 = 16 = 00

for George Ramsey for ringing ye bell and for keeping ye church clean 2 = 00 = 00

articles and charges of ye churchwardens and sidesmen ......................0 = 16 = 00

for washing the surplus ...........................................................................0 = 07 = 06

for washing the table linen ......................................................................0 = 02 = 00

due to the old churchwardens George Wilson and George Ruddil .........4 = 14 = 08

of which sum there is due to Woollsey Smurphet

for washing and mending surplus this last year ......................................0 = 07 = 06

to George Ramsey .................................................................................2 = 00 = 00

and to Woollsey Smurphet for writing done ............................................0 = 01 = 00

and to Mr Campbell .................................................................................0 = 04 = 09

and that Mr Meredith Workman of Killicomaaine by ye people and John Robison

of Lower Sego by Mr Campbell are chosen churchwardens for ye ensuing year;

and Valentine Joyce of Bellydonaghey and Samuel Walker of Kernon are chosen

sidesmen for ye said year overseers of ye highway

Thomas Mason of Balteagh for ye highways from Mr Dynes hill to Killicomaine

and from Blue stone to the Low Mill

Thomas Brown of Upper Sego from Kilvergin River to Edenderry

Robert Masden of Kinego and Art. McCann of Donaghmore for Bellynemony Constablewick

Daniel Kettle and Robert Corner continues

Owen McGrah and Thomas Walocks continues
