At a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe held for the said Parish on the first day of May 1731


It was ordered by the consent of the Minister --------- ---------- and Parishioners that William George of Lurgan, John Gaddis of Tandragee and Hugh McGumrey or Tandragee are chosen by the Minister and Parishioners to view and value the work of the Belfries and wheel of the Bell and give their opinion to the Minister and Parishioners of the said Parish what is the worth of the said work upon oath and the said Vestry is hereby adjourned to the 17 th of this month.

At a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe held for the said Parish on the 28 th October 1731 it was enacted and agreed upon by the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners then present that Mr John Mathers of Edenderry take an account of the number of acres in each townland in Mr Blacker and Mr Harrison’s lands in the Parish of Seagoe and the value of each acre in the said lands and give account to the Churchwardens at the next Vestry held in the said Parish.


And that Richard Timmons doe the like in the Manner of Kernon


And Robert Thompson of Boconnal doe the like in the Constable wick of Bellynemony and the Moyntagh townlands and that the said persons each of them do the same through the whole parish according to the best of their skill and knowledge and deliver an account at a Vestry to be held in the Parish Church of Seagoe this day fourteen nights.


And it is likewise agree upon at the same time that the sum of one pound fifteen shillings and six pence formerly applied to the Belferey (belfry) due to John Gibson and agreed upon last Easter be applotted and levied of the Parishioners and landholders of the said Parish and one pound ten shillings be levied for repair of the Church and for buying one Common Prayer Book; and one Register Book for the use of the Parish.
