At a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe held for the said Parish on Easter Monday the 27 th of March 1733 it was then agreed upon by the Minister, Churchwardens and Parishioners then present that James Irwin of Carne and Arthur Jorden of Moreverty are chosen Churchwardens to serve this present year; and that the sum on 8 – 6 – 8 be applotted and levied of the Parishioners and Landholders of the said Parish for the uses following (viz)

For Elements ......................................................................1 – 16 – 0

For Articles and Charges of the Churchwardens ................0 – 16 – 0

For washing surplices and table linen .................................0 – 12 – 8

For repair of the Church inside and outside the sum of ......3 – 00 – 0

And this Vestry is adjourned to this day fortnight

At a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe held for the said Parish on the 10 th day of April 1733

The Churchwardens, Thomas Bullock and Patrick Herril have made up their accounts with the Parish and there remains in their hands of the Parishes money the sum of one pound one shilling which they have paid to Mr Ford the said day.
