a Vestry held in the Parish Church of Seagoe held for the said Parish
on Easter Tuesday April the 16
th
1734
It
was then ordered and agreed upon by the Minister, Churchwardens and
Parishioners then present that the sum of 5

– 8d
be applotted and levied of the Parishioners and Landholders for the
said Parish for the uses following (viz)
Bellman’s
wages for this ensuing year................... 2 – 00 – 0
For Elements for the Lord’s Supper .......................1 – 16 – 0
For Articles and Charges of the Churchwardens ...0 – 16 – 0
For washing the surplice and table linen ...............0 – 08 – 6
For applotting the Church Cess .............................0 – 02 – 2
And
that John Tuft of Trumnegoan and William Bullock of Cross McKanghully
are chosen Churchwardens foe this ensuing year and that Woollsey
Smurphet is ordered to applot the said Cess; and this Vestry is
adjourned to this day fortnight.

of May 1734 it was agreed that Arthur Jordan and James Irwin, late
Churchwardens has passed their accounts to the satisfaction of the
Parish; and that there remained one pound in the hands of Arthur
Fforde for a Prayer book and Vestry books.
