A meeting of Vestry was held in Seagoe Vestryroom on Tuesday 25th June /89. Rev. A. Dawson Rector in the Chair, to receive Architects report on the three tenders presented for the work proposed to be done at Parish Church- Rev. A. Dawson in the Chair.

Present- Messrs- John Buckby Atkinson-Mr Watson. Mr Montgomery, W’m Robinson, W’m Macooun, James Albin, Ja’s Collins-Jos. Monroe, David W. Walker. The following tenders were opened.

Messrs Collins Bros. NO.1 Estimates Chancel & roof= £1200- ““““ 2-Do................ ..Porch & aisle 750= £1950

Messrs Bright Bros“ 1- Do- .........Chancel &roof-£1400 ““““ 2-Do- .................Porch & aisle 830- £2230

Mr. Richard Lutton 1-Do-................ Chancel & roof= 1610 “““2- Do- .................Porch & aisle- 990 - £2600

Proposed by J. Buckby Atkinson}

Seconded by Mr . D. W. Walker} that we accept Messrs Collins Tender as above namely No.1 Estimate £1200 & No.2 Estimate £750. Total of £1950-unanimously adopted.

Proposed by Mr. John Montgomery}

Seconded by Mr. D.W.Walker} That the Select vestry, with powers to add to their number, constitute a Committee to carry out the details in connection with the proposed improvements.

The following persons to be added to Committee. Messrs J. Buckby Atkinson- W.Richard Atkinson- A. Macoun Drumgor W.J.Watson Edenderry- Capel ? W. Reid Tarson

That Mr. J Buckby Atkinson be appointed Treasurer & that Rev. A. Dawson be authorised to transfer to him further Church Enlargement Fund the acc at present lodged in the Belfast Bank Portadown to credit of this account namely £26-10-10 with any interest accruing thereon- that Mr David W.Walker be appointed Secretary
