376 Easter Vestry 1894

The annual Vestry of Seagoe Parish was held on Easter Monday 26th March 1894 in the Parochial School room. The Venerable Archdeacon of Dromore in the chair.

Present

Rector Quirke – Messrs James Atkinson – Thomas Gilpin – Geo. Calvert _ Joseph Monroe – John Montgomery – James Collins – Capel W. Reid – John Lavery – Robert Wolsey – James Albin _ William McCann.

1st Parochial Nominators

Proposed by Mr John Lavery _ Seconded by Mr. Capel W. Reid

That the present Parochial Nominators namely _ W.R. Atkinson Esq. _ James Atkinson _ Mr George Calvert be elected.

Unanimously adopted.

2nd Diocesan Synods men

Proposed by Mr Geo Calvert _ Seconded by Mr Thomas Gilpin

That the following be elected namely

Proposed by Mr. Geo Calvert- Seconded by Mr John Monroe that Mr. Thomas J. Montgomery be elected in place of Mr. Wm. Reid resigned

5 Parochial Treasurer

Proposed by Mr James Albin seconded by Mr James Collins that James Atkinson be elected Parochial Treasurer and Secretary for the Select Vestry.

Repairs of Parochial Stable

Proposed by Mr. John Lavery _ Seconded by Mr. Thomas Gilpin that

Be appointed a committee to have the necessary repair dome in the Parochial Stable.

Meeting of Select Vestry was held in Seagoe Parochial schoolroom on Tuesday the 5th of February 1895 the Dean of Dromore in the chair for the purpose of supplying the sustentation Fund with their collecting books and revising the list of general requested vestrymen.

Present at the meeting

Messrs _ James Collins _ John Montgomery _ George Calvert _ Robert Woolsey _ James Albin. James Atkinson _ Capel W. Reid and Joseph Monroe.

The Dean revised the list of Requested Vestrymen and the books were given to the collectors.
