Monday, 20th March, 1899: - Meeting of Select Vestry, duly convened. The Dean of Dromore, Rector in Chair. Following members present: - J. Buckley Atkinson, Esq., Mr George Calvert, Messrs. A Macoum, James Collins, James Albin, Joseph Monro.

The meeting of the Annual Easter Vestry fixed for Easter Monday, April 3 rd inst., at 11.30 o’clock in School House.

The design for a stained-glass window (two lights) to be inserted in first window on left hand side of the Nave of Parish Church, on entrance by the Tower door, was presented by Miss Kate Carleton, of Portadown in memory of her mother, the late Mrs Carleton. The design represents the Nativity and the Adoration of the Magi. It is by A.W. Truesdale, Esq., (4 Bedford Row, London W.C.1) and in the execution by the Messrs. Heaton, Butler & Bayne (Garrick Street, Covent Garden, London W.C.2). The design was approved by the Vestry.

The proposal for the erection of an organ in the Chancel, in memory of the late Baroness von Stieglitz, at the insistence of several members of the parishioners was considered. It was proposed to ascertain the probable cost of a good and effective instrument, by organ builders of repute, such as Messrs Foster and Andrews, of Hull or Messrs ?? Construction, to be ascertained, if possible, in time for the Easter Vestry next, when the proposal might be considered more fully by the parishioners. The sum of £10. 10. 0, on account of the subscriptions to the Sustentation Fund from Edenderry, was paid in by Mr. James Albin, Collector.
