The several Parochial Accounts presented prepaid except that of the Sustentation Fund, which was not yet completed.

Mr James Atkinson resigned the office of Secretary & Treasurer which he had held for fifty years, owing to his advanced age and increasing infirmities. His resignation was accepted and Mr. W.R. Atkinson of Edenvilla was unanimously elected the office vacated.
It was proposed by Mr. Thos. Stothers, seconded by Mr. Geo Calvert and unanimously adopted.
“Resolved that in accepting the resignation by Mr. Jas Atkinson of the office of Parochial Treasurer and Secretary, which he has held for fifty years, the vestry desire to place an their grateful service of the faithful discharge of his official action and their cordial thanks to him for the same; and the resolution be recorded on the Minutes of the Vestry.”
It was proposed by Mr. Joseph Murray, seconded by Mr. James Collins, and adopted unanimously- “ that the thanks of this Vestry, be accorded to Mr. A. Macoun, for his kindness in lending the Parish Church an American Organ for nine years, since the re-opening of the enlarged Church, until the erection of our Memorial Organ, to be dedicated tomorrow 19th April inst.

The proceedings throughout were cordial and unanimous, and much pleasure was expressed at the presence of Rev Canon. R. J. C Blacker at the Vestry, and the kindly interestexpressed by him in the welfare of the parish.
