A meeting of the select Vestry of Seagoe was held on 11 March 1901. Present the Dean of Dromore in the Chair, Rev. N.J. Grey, Curate, Joseph Murray, Wilson Irwin, George Calvert, James Collins, John Montgomery, Joseph Morris.
Chairman announced completion of Registry of General Vestry, showing Resident Parishioners 290, Owners of Property 4, Accustomed Members of Congregation 5, Total 299.
Chairman reported that Mr William Reid had undertaken the building of the teacher’s residence at £250, including alterations in the Specifications for the improvement of the building and that Mr Sloan recommended that the Committee should be asked from the Board of Works for the Contractors use. The Chairman stated that he had applied this day to the Board of Works for Copies.
The Annual Easter Vestry was provisionally appointed for Thursday 11 April 1901 at 2.30 o’clock PM or such day sooner should suit the convenience of Rev. Canon Blacker to attend.
