A special meeting of the Select Vestry was held on the 22 Nov 1901 – Present the Very Revd the Dean of Dromore, in the Chair: John Montgomery, Wilson Irwin, Geo Calvert, Jas Collins, Joseph Murray, Thomas Murray, Thomas Stothers and W.R. Atkinson.
Mr N. H. Hunter attended to meet the Vestry to consult as to an arrangement come to between the Vestry and the Rural District Council of Lurgan with the object of handing over the stables etc to the council. Mr Nelson Ruddell was deputed to attend to meet the vestry, but wrote to say he could not come.
It was proposed by Mr Stothers and seconded by Mr Atkinson that Messrs Geo Calvert and Thomas Gilpin should present the interests of the vestry at the next meeting of the Rural District Council and meet with them as to forward with hope the matter might be finally arranged.
