A meeting of Select Vestry was held on 5 January 1903 when there were present The Very Revd., the Dean of Dromore, in the Chair, George Calvert, Robert Gracey, Thomas Stothers, John Montgomery, Mr J McDowell, James Albin, John G. Gracey, Wilson Irwin, Joseph Monro and Mr R Atkinson.
The meeting was for the purpose of receiving the Sustentation Fund Collectors’ books and collections, under the new arrangements for completing this collection at the end of the year instead of at Easter as hitherto. The sum of £78.11.6 was paid in.
Mr N.J. Watson of Edenderry, having recently presented a Hymn board for use in the Church, a vote of thanks for his gift was proposed by Mr Thomas Stothers, seconded the Mr George Calvert and passed unanimously and the Secretary was requested to convey the same to Mr Watson.
The Treasurer informed the meeting that he had paid over to Mr Richard Lutton the sum of £84.15.1 on a/c of new stables, the total cost of which as per his detailed account, produced at meeting, amounts to £143.
It was arranged that the meeting for Revision of Registered Vestrymen should be held on Wednesday 4 February.
