19050901 1st September 1905 Select Vestry meeting

At a meeting of Select Vestry was held on 1 September 1905 when there were present Revd Jas E. Archer- int the chair – John Montgomery – J. H. Stevenson – Joseph Murray – Atkinson Cassells – J. G. Montgomery – George Calvert – Joseph Monro – W. J. McDowell – W. Irwin – Robert Gracey – David Rock – Jas Albin – Thomas Martin and W. R. Atkinson.

The collectors appointed to ask for subscriptions to the Deans Presentation attended when the sum of £31.19.0 was received.

I was arranged that the churchwardens and Honorary Secretary and George Calvert should, call 2^ndinstance , on the Dean, to to inform him of the proposed address and presentation and hear from him in what shape he would wish to take the presentation.

Mr Archer kindly undertook to draft the address and submit it to the meeting of the select on 8 instance.

The above meeting the Select Vestry sanctioned the employment of Isaiah Shanks as organ blower at the salary of 15 / - per quarter.
